You certainly get around, Ruben! Nice imposing angle, and I love the guy on the bicycle.

There's a lot going on in this shot Ruben. The gate is imposing, but it is tempered by the tones of the photograph and the woman on the bicycle in the foreground. The scale of the gate is demonstrated wonderfully by the woman on the bike in contrast to the people in the distance sitting on the foot of the gate. Great photo Ruben.

Ah, the gate with the old characters on it! They put up the new sign some times last year, and it was a heavily debated and contested issue in Taiwan, but still the new lettering is up. The history aside, I personally would like to see some more shadow on the gate. A good shot and good angle nevertheless.

It`s a very nice shot, Ruben. I don`t know if you purposely processed it this was, but disagreeing with Howard above I like "no shadow" look very much. It makes the shot 'untraditional'. it feels weightless like a seen from a dream... A flash back... Heavenly?!...
